Plaquex® is FDA approved and has been in use for the past 70 years in about one-fourth of the world’s countries. It is a formula that can be used to remove fatty and hardened plaque from blood vessels and for general anti-aging purposes to extend an individual’s life span. It has applications in liver and kidney disease, protecting the stomach lining from NSAID damage, and in psoriasis patients.

Can Plaquex® help with atherosclerosis and high cholesterol?

This treatment has been proven to help most people lower their cholesterol and manage their atherosclerosis.  Plaquex reduces LDL cholesterol and triglyceride levels while increasing HDL cholesterol levels. Plaquex® activates the enzyme LCAT (Lecithin Acyl Cholesterol Transferase) which esterifies cholesterol, including deposits in plaque, enabling HDL to take it up and remove it from vascular walls and eliminate it through the liver.

Studies show that LDL cholesterol levels can be lowered by up to 31%, triglycerides can be lowered by up to 25%, and HDL levels increased by up to 45% in a 12 month period.  The initial values, route of administration, Plaquex® dosage, and duration of the treatment determine these amounts.

An important factor in the development of atherosclerosis is lipid peroxidation. A close relationship was found between lipid peroxidation and increased platelet aggregation. Studies show a decrease in lipid peroxidation parameters when Plaquex® is applied.  Plaquex® reduces LDL oxidation as well.

How is Plaquex® administered?

Plaque® is administered intravenously. Balanced Medical Solutions is fully equipped to administer the IV on site. IV therapies usually take about 45 minutes per visit. Depending on how high your cholesterol levels are and your personal goals, you will come back weekly for a new dose of Plaque® for a prescribed number of doses.  Balanced Medical Solutions in Haywwad, CA is conveniently open Mondays through Fridays until 7 pm.

How do I know if Plaquex® is right for me?

Your initial consultation with Balanced Medical Solutions will help determine whether or not Plaquex® is a good fit for you. Recent lab work while fasting, which can be obtained at the clinic, will help assess your current overall health and will include an analysis of your current triglyceride and cholesterol levels.  Based on this, we can determine if this treatment is a good fit for you and if so, create your personalized Plaquex® prescription specific to your circumstances and body.

During their initial consultation, they perform comprehensive blood tests to check cholesterol levels and overall health and discuss symptoms, personal goals, and concerns with each patient. To book an appointment for only $99 with labs and free follow-ups, simply click here.
